You may notice that the fundraising bar has reappeared at the top of my blog…this is because I’m going back out on the mission field! In December I will return home and spend a month with my family and friends. A few months ago as I prayed into what comes after these 11 months, God kept saying “You’re not done yet.” I knew He’d have me doing more missions, I just wasn’t sure where or with who. He then made it clear He wants me to go on this alumni trip, through the same organization. The trip will be 5 months, from January-May. I will be in a very different part of the world compared to where I have been this past year, called the 10/40 window. 10/40 are the coordinates that envelope the Middle East. This is an area of the world that is primarily unreached with the gospel. We will have a month of training in Gainesville, Georgia to prepare us before leaving the states for 4 months.. These 4 months will be primarily ATL (what we did in Panama!) Meaning, what we decide to do, where to go, and who we’re ministering to will all be dependent on prayer. I’d be lying if I said I am ecstatic to go on this trip. I’m sad that my time visiting home and processing will be so short. However, anytime God has given me a clear answer about anything, it has wound up being the best thing that could’ve happened. It’s hard to see now what those 5 months will hold because I haven’t seen them yet. But He has already gone before me and I have a whole lot of excitement and hope in the fact that He knows best and He’s a good God. As I prepare to leave again in January, I am responsible for raising $9,500. This will cover long distance travel, groceries, local transportation, and lodging for the 5 months. All adventures and fun excursions come out of my pocket. If you’d like to partner with me financially, you can click the “donate” button at the top of my blog. Anything is greatly appreciated! Donations through that button are tax deductible. If you prefer to donate through venmo, my venmo is Madisonallison09. I want to thank everyone for the encouragements, prayer, and thoughts you’ve sent my way in the past 9 months. I feel the love and appreciate it more than I can say! I ask that you’d continue to partner with me in prayer. For continued safe travels, health, and endurance.

  1. Hey Sweet One! We’re so proud of you! You are continuing to hear the Lord clearly and follow His voice. I agree, where He wants you is the very best and safest place to be. We love you so much! We’re praying!!!
