I made it to launch everyone!  Since Saturday the 8th I've been in Gainesville Georgia continuing my training before we head out to the field!  As expected, there have been some changes.  Due to covid, we will no longer be starting in Guatemala.  Instead, we will head straight to Honduras and spend 2 months there!  WOO WOOOO!  Although initially I was slightly bummed about this, I have received a lot of peace and excitement about the change.  One of those things being that we will get to grow closer with our ministry hosts and potentially have sweeter relationships with the people we meet since we have more time.  In Honduras we will be tenting in the mountains with no electricity.  So I will do my best to find coffee shops with wifi to update you all a few times!  With this being said, I would so appreciate prayers for strength- mentally, emotionally and physically these next two months.

If everything goes as planned- we will begin our travels to Honduras on Friday morning.

A little update on what Gods been doing in my heart:

Being fully transparent, I've been struggling this past week as I have been feeling disconnected from God.  I tend to get frustrated in seasons of silence to the point that I lose sight of my purpose.  However, He has been so sweet this past week in sending me reminders and teaching me how to recognize His love for me even in these seasons.  This has enabled me to practice lifting Him up and loving Him even when I feel He's distant.  There have been several words He’s given me that I'm not yet sure what to do with, but the other day He gave me the verse "Seek me and you will find me" so that's exactly what I have been striving to do.
